Premier League Bound? Nottingham Forest Join the Race for Championship Top Scorer
Nottingham Forest are reportedly considering a summer move for Swansea City striker Žan Vipotnik. The 24-year-old Slovenian international has taken the Championship by storm this season, leading the goalscoring charts and attracting significant interest from several Premier League clubs, with Forest boss Sean Dyche keen to bolster his attacking options.
Vipotnik, who joined the Welsh side on a free transfer from Bordeaux in 2024, has enjoyed a sensational 2025/26 campaign, establishing himself as one of the most clinical finishers in the second tier. His physical presence and goal-poaching instincts have made him a primary target for clubs looking to add firepower, especially as Forest seek to strengthen their squad to avoid future relegation battles.
While Swansea are reluctant to lose their star man and have placed a valuation of approximately £15 million on the forward, the lure of top-flight football could prove decisive. With interest also coming from West Ham and Scottish giants Rangers, Nottingham Forest may need to act quickly in the summer window to secure the signature of the in-form striker before other suitors formalize their bids.
